SIHANOUKVILLE, Cambodia – The "Crystal Symphony" cruise ship, bearing the flag of the Bahamas, made a significant stop at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on February 18, bringing 313 tourists from 25 different nationalities to the coastal province of Preah Sihanouk. Among the passengers, 154 were women, highlighting the diverse demographic that the province attracted on this day.

Spanning 238.01 meters in length and 30.20 meters in width, the cruise ship's visit marks a notable event for the region, known for its picturesque beaches and cultural resorts. According to the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, the majority of these visitors hailed from the United States, with 193 Americans on board, followed by 24 British nationals. An adventurous group of 25 tourists seized the opportunity to extend their journey to Siem Reap, aiming to explore the historic Angkor temples, while the remainder indulged in the local culture, scenic beaches, and other attractions that Preah Sihanouk has to offer.

Originating from Thailand, the cruise ship not only carried tourists but also a crew of 443 individuals representing 49 different nationalities, including 96 women, demonstrating the global scale of the operation. After a day of exploration and cultural immersion, the "Crystal Symphony" set sail towards Vietnam in the evening, continuing its voyage across Southeast Asia.

This event is part of a growing trend observed since the beginning of the year, as Sihanoukville's Autonomous Port has become a gateway for an increasing number of vessels. These ships bring thousands of tourists and crew members from around the world, contributing to Cambodia's position as a thriving hub of international tourism and cultural exchange.
